Explanation of the contents of ~4Dgifts/toolbox/data
----------------------------------------------------
This subtree contains the data files eaten up by the demo progs,
the source of which lives down under ~4Dgifts/toolbox/src/demos.
* images houses WorldSat images of earth and an sgi
"placeholder" (we have to do the same thing
here we're endeavoring to do in sounds/ --
i.e. have a one-stop-slop dir of links to
all such files in the toolbox).
* models stores some .bin geometry data files. also
needs upgrading as images does to be more
like sounds.
* sounds the v4.2 DT version of creating a dir of links
to all sound files in throughout the DT, plus
some actual files that only reside here.
--this needs to be updated to the current v5.1
form of the DT CD contents
* textures a smattering of texture maps. needs to also
become all-toolbox-inclusive
